About the Role

As a CVOR Tech, you will be responsible for performing complex surgical procedures in a high-volume cardiac surgery unit. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performing complex surgical procedures under the supervision of a surgeon
• Assisting with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care
• Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintaining accurate documentation in the charting system

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a surgical setting
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Current certification in National Board for Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)

Qualifications

• Experience with community hospitals and general ORs
• Experience with laparoscopic assisted cases
• Experience with Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), lung resection-thoracotomy, mitral valve replacement, and VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery)

Pay

The pay range for this position is $2130.80 to $2324.00 weekly.

Schedule

The shift is 5, 8-hour days from 07:00 - 15:30.
