Travel CVOR RN - Cardiovascular Surgery - $2,468 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13‑week contract in North Charleston, South Carolina. The position begins on October 12, 2026, requires 40 hours per week (10‑hour day shifts), and involves working as a Circulating RN in thoracic and vascular surgical procedures, including heart and valve replacements, within a dynamic operating‑room team.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in various surgical specialties including thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, neurological, plastic, trauma, and robotic ob‑gyn and urology cases.
• Prepare and position patients for surgery, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient patient care and procedural adherence.
• Utilize advanced surgical equipment, including the XI Robot, Mako joint robot, and advanced spine technologies.
• Maintain accurate documentation through the Meditech system.

Requirements

• Current RN license with circulating experience in the operating room.
• Strong skills in cardiac (CV/PV) procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, fem‑pop bypass, and mitral or aortic valve replacements.
• Required certifications: BLS and RN licensure.
• Experience with robotic surgical systems preferred.

Schedule

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday‑Friday with every other weekend and holidays on rotation; 10‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
