Travel CVOR RN - $3,212 per week

About the role

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The position is for a Hospital contract in the CVOR setting. Contract length is 13 weeks (with an initial start date of 10/19/2026 and a duration of 26 weeks noted elsewhere). The role requires 40 hours per week, 10‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac surgery patients in the CVOR setting.
• Prepare and monitor patients undergoing cardiac procedures, including CABGs, valve repairs, transplants, and LVADs.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and effective procedures.
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in on‑call rotations, including weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 patient care.

Requirements

• PA or Compact License required at time of submission.
• ACLS, BLS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Trauma level II experience required.
• Cardiac surgery experience including CABGs, aortic/mitral valve repairs/replacements, heart transplants, dissections, LVADs.
• Proficiency with Epic charting system.
• Ability to scrub and circulate in cardiac surgery.
• Experience with cardiac procedures.
• First‑time travelers accepted with appropriate experience.
• On‑call Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; average 2 weekends every 6 weeks with some vacation coverage.
• One winter and one summer holiday requirement.
• No floating.
• Shift pattern: 4×10‑hour days.

Pay

Pay range: $3,073.40 – $3,227.07 per week (based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 10 hours; typical schedule 07:00 – 17:30, 4×10‑hour days, 40 hours per week. On‑call Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; average 2 weekends every 6 weeks with some vacation coverage; one winter and one summer holiday required; no floating.
