Schedule
- Shifts are variable, 4×10, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- On-call requirements include a minimum of 7 days per month, with at least 1 weekend per month.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during cardiovascular surgical procedures.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
- Administer medications and manage IVs as required.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safety and effectiveness of procedures.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as an RN, with specific experience in cardiovascular surgery preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate’s degree.
- Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
