This position requires immediate availability and is structured for long-term commitment. Below are the essential details regarding this opportunity: Job Details Shift: 4x10 hours (06:15 - 16:45) Call: Required 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend Float: As needed to the OR Patient Ratio: 1:1 Visits per Day: 6 (3 rooms) Responsibilities Participate in assigned Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team duties. Respond to work requirements during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Adapt to possible mid-contract consolidation and reassignment to units as needed. Experience and Certification Requirements BLS certification required ACLS certification preferred CVOR experience mandatory Experience with ECMO and Impella systems required Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required First-time travelers accepted, provided they meet experience requirements Unit Systems Medication: PYXIS Documentation: EPIC Communication: SBAR Orientation A 24-hour orientation will be provided based on the traveler's experience and familiarity with the unit.
