About the role

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position in Newark, NJ. Work in a high-acuity surgical environment supporting cardiovascular and thoracic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic procedures
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
• Document patient care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Requirements

• Current New Jersey RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiovascular operating room nursing
• Proficiency with life-support equipment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Minimum of 2 COVID-19 vaccines + booster required, or declination completed

• 2 references in entire work history
• 2 references on-file

Pay

Pay rate: $2,552.00 – $2,683.00 per week, based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (tax-free stipend amount to be determined).

Schedule

10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week. Duration: 13 weeks. Start date: September 14, 2026.
