Responsibilities

• Circulate in Cardiovascular (CV) OR procedures, including:
  • CABGs (required)
  • TCARs
  • Carotid procedures
• Perform Neuro procedures, including:
  • Craniotomies (required)
  • TLIFs
  • Laminectomies
  • Discectomies
• Handle Orthopedic cases, including:
  • Trauma
  • Total Shoulders
  • Total Knees
  • Total Hips
  • ORIFs
• Conduct General Surgery cases, including:
  • DaVinci robotic cases
  • Open abdominal procedures
  • Trauma surgery
• Perform additional procedures, including:
  • Vitrectomies
  • ERCPs
  • Colonoscopies
  • EGDs
  • Cystoscopies
  • Stent placements
  • TURPs
• Meet call requirements:
  • One weekday evening per week (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Two weekend call shifts per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
  • 30-minute response time
• Float between two campuses approximately 16 minutes apart (first to float)

Requirements

• 5+ years of hospital OR experience (minimum 4 years only if exceptionally strong with outstanding references)
• Robotics experience (required):
  • Mako (Orthopedics)
  • DaVinci (General Surgery, Urology, Cardiovascular)
• Cardiovascular (CV) OR experience
• Neuro experience (craniotomies required)
