About the role

The Adult Cardiac OR is dedicated to providing advanced care for patients undergoing various cardiac procedures, including CABGs, TAVIs, and heart transplants. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages in a dynamic operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Independently circulate complex adult cardiac cases such as CABGs, structural heart cases, and minimally invasive procedures.
• Manage and support patients undergoing heart failure interventions, including VAD, ECMO, and artificial hearts.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an operating room, preferably in a level 1 trauma setting.
• Ability to scrub and circulate is essential.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Transplant and TAVI/TAVR experience is preferred but not mandatory.
