Travel CVOR Open Heart Registered Nurse - $2,725 per week
Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse with specialization in Open Heart procedures, located in Detroit, Michigan. This position involves providing leadership in the coordination and delivery of compassionate, high-quality patient care. The role requires utilizing the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient education. Effective communication of pertinent patient and family information to the health care team is essential, along with participating in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensuring proper implementation.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts with options for five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts, all with a 6 a.m. start time.
- Shift hours: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Call schedule: 48 hours of call in a six-week schedule period, including availability for one weekend per month.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certified by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- OR experience with Cardiac Scrub experience
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Additional Information

Pay Package
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
