Job Summary

The position involves specialty surgical procedures requiring thoracic and vascular experience, including heart and valve replacements. The role includes working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on cardiac, neuro, trauma, and robotic surgeries, supporting patient care in a dedicated unit with advanced equipment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Dayshift with 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Thoracic and vascular surgical experience including heart and valve replacements
• Completion of BLS certification
• At least 1 year of clinical experience
• Able to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with XI robotic surgery and advanced cardiac procedures

Additional Information

• The surgical unit features advanced technology including XI Robot, Mako joint robot, and employs Meditech documentation system.
• The standard team includes 1RN/1CST per room, with dedicated cardiac and thoracic staff.
• The unit operates additional staff such as a charge RN and anesthesia coverage, providing a collaborative environment for complex surgical care.
• The role includes participation in rotating weekend and holiday shifts per hospital policy, with 3 call shifts every 4 weeks.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
