Travel CVOR Circulating RN - $2,839 per week

About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a 13-week assignment at Trident Medical Center in Charleston, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room under the supervision of anesthesiologists and surgeons.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient care, including patient positioning, draping, and monitoring vital signs.
• Manage sterile field and assist with surgical procedures as directed.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient case transitions.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely using Meditech.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements

• Current RN license in South Carolina.
• Active CVOR certification.
• Experience in general, orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, plastic surgery, urology, and obstetrics/gynecology surgeries.
• Strong skills in cardiac procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, mitral or aortic valve replacement, and advanced spine procedures.
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries.
• BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR experience.
• Experience with the XI Robot and other advanced spine and joint robots.
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including 10-hour shifts, days, and nights.

Skills

• Circulating RN experience in general OR.
• Experience with thoracic and vascular procedures.
• Strong skills in positioning, prepping, and facilitating cases in various surgical areas.
