Key Responsibilities Include Assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, recognizing subtle changes in conditionAdministering complex medications and treatments following critical care protocolsManaging advanced life support equipment and interpreting hemodynamic monitoring dataEnsuring patient safety and comfort while addressing physical and emotional needsDocumenting assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and timelyProviding education to patients and families regarding treatments and recoveryCollaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomesMaintaining proficiency in critical care procedures, adhering to infection control and safety standards Qualifications One year of recent CVICU RN experienceValid RN license compliant with state regulationsCurrent BLS and ACLS certificationsPreferred: CCRN, TNCC, NIHSS certifications Required skills include critical thinking, excellent communication, physical ability to handle equipment, and adaptability to high-pressure environments.
