Travel CVICU RN

Role: Provide critical care in the ICU for a travel assignment, assessing and monitoring critically ill patients, operating life-support equipment, administering advanced treatments, and collaborating with healthcare teams. Responsibilities: Perform patient assessments, manage complex medications and equipment, interpret hemodynamic monitoring, document care, educate patients/families, ensure safety, and adhere to infection control protocols. Qualifications: One year of recent CVICU experience, valid RN license, current BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred certifications include CCRN, TNCC, and NIHSS. Skills: Critical thinking, strong communication, technical proficiency, physical stamina, interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Key duties: Recognize patient condition changes, operate advanced life support systems, maintain accurate records, provide patient education, and support quality improvement initiatives.
