Travel CVICU RN - $2,574 per week

About the role

Travel CVICU Registered Nurse position in Madison, Wisconsin. 13-week assignment starting December 14, 2026. 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and alert physicians to significant changes in patient condition
• Serve as liaison between physicians, patients, and families
• Provide daily care to ensure patient comfort and recovery
• Administer post-operative care for open-heart surgery patients
• Manage care for heart transplant patients
• Educate patients' families on ongoing care needs

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• 18 months of recent experience in an acute care CVICU setting

Pay

Pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Weekly payment estimates include gross hourly wages and reimbursements for meals, incidentals, and housing; final details confirmed by recruiter.
