Travel CVICU RN - $2,508 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This night shift position involves caring for patients undergoing cardiac surgery and managing complex cardiac conditions in a CVICU environment.

Schedule

• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 19:30 to 08:00 (12 hours)
• 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals in the CVICU environment
• Monitor patients post-cardiac surgery for complications
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement patient care plans
• Assist with the management of ventilators and titrate medications
• Conduct routine assessments and interpret diagnostic tests
• Support and educate families regarding patient care and recovery

Requirements

• Current Maryland RN license or compact license
• ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of CVICU/open heart experience
• Experience with Epic charting system (preferred)
• Charge experience (preferred)
• Ability to manage patients with complex medical conditions

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
