About the Role

Travelers must live 60+ miles away (local rate applies within 60 miles)

Requirements

• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience
• Strong rhythm interpretation skills
• Experience with vasoactive drips
• Ventilator management
• Able to assist with bedside procedures

Unit Details

• 12-bed CVICU
• Patient ratios: 2:1 (ICU), up to 4:1 for progressive care/step-down patients
• Adult & geriatric patient population
• Common Diagnoses: STEMI, STEMI, Pulmonary Embolism (PE), Cardiogenic Shock, Post-Cardiac Cath patients
• Equipment: Ventilators, Swan-Ganz catheters, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps (IABP), Arterial lines, CRRT
