Travel CVICU RN - $2,496 per week
About the role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) in Great Falls, Montana. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a 36-hour work week, consisting of 12-hour night shifts.
The CVICU is a 10-bed unit specializing in the care of immediate post-operative open-heart patients from the first day. Recent open-heart recovery nurse experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
- Manage patients requiring noninvasive and invasive ventilatory support.
- Operate advanced medical equipment, including A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and multiple IV pumps.
- Interpret basic cardiac telemetry and EKGs.
Requirements
- Recent experience as a Critical Care Nurse, with CVICU and open-heart experience preferred.
- Proficiency in advanced nursing principles and procedures.
- Current Montana RN licensure.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Skills
- Use of basic office equipment and advanced medical devices.
- Ability to manage patients with complex needs, including those on ventilatory support.
- Basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation.
