Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Licensure and Education

Licenses are not required.

Experience and Skills

• Must have more than two years of experience in CVICU
• Experience with IABP, CRRT, and Fresh OHS from the OR is required
• Clinician must take and pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts
• Impella experience is desired, along with experience using the Cerner charting system
• Must be able to titrate drips
• The clinician may be required to float to ICU/PCU/MS/Tele at both campuses as needed
• Must not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year

Testing

Must score at least 80% on dysrhythmia exam within two attempts. Failure to do so results in a DNU (Do Not Use) status for CS AZ and Sacramento for 6 months.
