Travel CVICU RN - $2,159 per week

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. The position is for an immediate opening in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with a duration of 18 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Job ID #1513726.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients with potentially life‑threatening heart conditions.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications.
• Take samples for diagnostic tests; order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Apply hemodynamic, phlebotomy and IV protocols.
• Respond to emergencies to perform CPR and operate defibrillators hospital‑wide.
• Educate patients and family members on managing recovery at home.

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience (CVICU preferred).

Skills

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting 20 lb routinely and up to 50 lb when moving patients.
• Strong stress‑coping skills and ability to relate to diverse patient populations.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week, with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for an 18‑week assignment.
