Travel CVICU RN - $2,070 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality CVICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Columbia, South Carolina. Start date: 10/26/2026; duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, check vital signs, and alert doctors of major changes in patient condition.
• Act as a liaison between doctors and patients, ensuring patient welfare and relaying information to family.
• Provide daily care to ensure comfortable recovery.
• Administer care for patients following open‑heart surgery.
• Responsible for treatment and care of heart transplant patients.
• Educate patient’s family on ongoing needs and care.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care CVICU setting.
