Travel CVICU RN - $1,941 per week

About the role

Travel nursing job in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week (06:45 AM – 07:15 PM), with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures including open-heart surgeries.
• Monitor and manage patients post cardiac surgery directly from the OR.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, including using ECMO and IABP.
• Oversee pulmonary artery line (Swan Ganz) monitoring and arterial line management.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines.
• Provide continuous IV sedation and titrate cardiac drips.
• Care for ventilated patients and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Uphold isolation precautions and PPE protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience required.
• CVICU or open heart experience required.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
