Travel CVICU RN - $1,823 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13‑week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. Start date: October 19, 2026. The position is 36 hours per week, 12‑hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) in a 16‑bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit focusing on high‑volume and advanced cardiac surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care utilizing advanced skills for a diverse patient population, including those requiring specialized devices.
• Perform procedures such as central line insertion, Swan‑Ganz catheter insertion, and intubations.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and manage complex medical devices, including ECMO, Centrimags, and HM3 LVADS.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including a dedicated intensivist present 24/7.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Strong critical care experience in CVICU settings.
• Ability to manage PA catheter and perform hemodynamic monitoring; experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• Adherence to dress code: black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs; scrub jackets/vests only.
