Responsibilities
- Care for patients with complex cardiac and vascular conditions in a facility known for its multidisciplinary teamwork and advanced technology
- Assess, monitor, and treat critically ill cardiovascular patients
- Operate life-support equipment
- Document care in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid North Carolina RN or Compact RN license
- At least 1 year of recent intensive care unit (ICU) experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- 1 reference in entire work history
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in ventilator management
- Cardiac monitoring
- Rapid response to emergencies
- Strong communication
- Experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
- Experience with ventricular assist devices (VADs)
- Experience with EMR systems
