About the Role

Travel RN-Intensive Care Unit – Cardiothoracic jobs in Chapel Hill, NC, place you in a high-acuity environment caring for patients recovering from complex heart and lung surgeries at the facility. Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) eligibility
• At least one year of recent cardiothoracic or intensive care experience
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Level 1 Trauma Experience (minimum 1 year)
• CTICU Focus Experience
• Social Security Number required
• Date of Birth required
• 1 reference in entire work history

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in ventilator management
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition
