About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 12-week assignment in Reston, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for cardiac surgery patients with direct primary recovery
- Perform procedures such as ACLS, balloon pump, impella training, and hemosphere or acumen training
- Participate in a new cardiac surgery program launch
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience with cardiac surgery patients
- Advanced skills including ACLS, Balloon pump, impella training, and hemosphere or acumen training
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Virginia
- Experience with Meditech Expanse documentation system
- Floating policy: Will take same ratio as unit floated to
Skills
- Able to work 48 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, nights
- Must have ACLS certification
- Must be trained in Balloon pump, impella, and hemosphere or acumen
