Travel CVICU Registered Nurse - $3,150 per week

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Hazard, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 2+ years of current CVICU experience required.
• Fresh open-heart (post-operative cardiac surgery) experience is required.
• Experience working with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is required.
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification required.
• Active Kentucky RN License or Compact (Multistate) RN License required.
• Floating is required within the RN's scope of practice.
• Every other weekend is required.
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated.
• Standard schedule is 36/48 hours over a two-week pay period, unless otherwise specified on the job order.
• Nurse-to-patient ratios may fluctuate based on patient census, staffing, and operational needs.
• Orientation is conducted bi-weekly.
• The start date listed on the job order is the required assignment start date.
• Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify. Local candidates are not eligible.
