About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.
- Monitor and manage patients on invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
- Titrate critical care and sedation drips according to protocol.
- Work collaboratively with charge nurses, house supervisors, and advanced practice providers.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and procedures.
- Utilize the EPIC charting system for accurate documentation.
Requirements
- Valid RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred.
- Experience in CVICU with a focus on cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
- Experience with CRRT is required.
Schedule
- 13-week contract position.
- 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- 36 hours per week.
