Travel CVCC RN - $2,133 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a CVICU assignment in Houston, Texas. The assignment starts October 19, 2026 and lasts approximately 6 weeks (6.14 weeks). The position requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in a CVICU setting, including care for open‑heart surgery, transplant, and AAA patients.
• Be open to floating to other units as needed.
• Maintain flexible scheduling; no self‑scheduling.
• Work every other weekend (EOW).

Requirements

• Active RN license (state of Texas or compact).
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• CRRT experience preferred.
• Recent ECMO experience.
• Strong critical care background in major academic medical centers.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record.
• Typically 3+ years of critical care experience, prior travel nursing experience, and experience in busy hospitals.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred but not required.

Skills

• CRRT and ECMO proficiency.
• Advanced critical care assessment and intervention.
• EPIC navigation.
• Ability to adapt to floating and variable schedules.
