Travel CT Technologist / MRI Technologist - $2,681 per week

About the role

The current client in Zanesville, OH is seeking a Licensed MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. This position offers rotating shifts and includes rewards such as health insurance coverage and 401K matching.

Responsibilities

• Operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
• Performs patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils near the area of interest.
• Adjusts transmitters and receivers, and keys in data on the camera to photograph images.
• Interviews patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and addresses their concerns.
• Maintains patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols, removing hazardous metal objects, and monitoring patients via closed circuit TV.
• Orients new hires and trains MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist.
• Fully proficient in all duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
• License in the required state.
• Knowledge of MRI protocols and complex MRI procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
• At least 2 years of hospital experience in a clinical area, with EP preferred.

Pay
