Travel CT Technologist / MRI Technologist - $2,876 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Zanesville, Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set and monitor equipment controls, make adjustments as needed, assist radiologists with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast, if required.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans, assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures, evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence, and label appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform some clerical tasks, charge procedures and supplies to the patient record, load and operate power injections for contrast media administration, and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care.
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, promoting national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Licensure in most states.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8 hours per day shift.
