About the role
We are seeking a skilled CT Tech to operate computed tomography scanners for diagnostic imaging. The role involves preparing and positioning patients, following imaging protocols, and working closely with radiologists to produce high-quality images.
Responsibilities
- Operate computed tomography scanners for diagnostic imaging
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Follow imaging protocols to ensure accurate and high-quality images
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
- Document imaging procedures and patient records
- Adhere to safety standards and radiation protection guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- At least one year of recent CT experience
- Valid Radiology license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include ARRT certification.
