Role: Travel CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, following safety protocols, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to capture cross-sectional images of body tissuesPrepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfortAdjust technical parameters for accurate imagingProvide high-quality images for interpretation by radiologistsMaintain equipment and troubleshoot as neededDocument patient and procedural information accuratelyAdhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policiesCollaborate effectively with medical staff to deliver timely diagnosticsAdapt to various CT equipment and protocolsPerform additional duties within CT technologist scope Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year recent CT technologist experienceValid radiology license, current BLS certificationPreferred ARRT certificationCritical thinking, good communication, and PC skillsPhysical ability to move and handle equipment (50-100 lbs)Effective interpersonal skills and professionalismAbility to follow instructions, work under pressure, and maintain attention to detailVisual acuity and effective communication skills Key Attributes: Compassionate care, safety consciousness, technical proficiency, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail.
