About the role
Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, and ensure high-quality imaging in collaboration with radiologists.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
- Document procedures accurately
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- One year of recent CT experience
- Valid radiology license
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: ARRT certification and additional state licenses
Skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Technical proficiency with CT equipment
- Physical ability to operate equipment and assist patients
- Attention to detail and adaptability under pressure
