Travel CT Technologist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CT Tech responsible for operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, following safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists for accurate diagnosis. The role involves maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis
• Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety
• Follow imaging protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for timely diagnostics
• Maintain equipment and document procedures accurately
• Perform routine troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
• Adapt to different CT protocols and equipment
• Set technical parameters, troubleshoot equipment, and adhere to radiation safety standards

Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid Radiology license per state regulations
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred ARRT certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist patients
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail
