Travel CT Technologist

About the role

The Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepares and positions patients, and collaborates with radiologists to obtain high-quality images. They ensure safety protocols, maintain equipment, document procedures, and provide compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and set technical parameters for accurate imaging
• Prepare, explain procedures to patients, and ensure their safety
• Provide images for radiologist interpretation while adhering to safety standards
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Document patient information and procedural details accurately
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols as needed

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid Radiology license and current BLS certification
• Critical thinking, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to handle equipment and assist with procedures
• Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and visual acuity
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with diverse teams
