Travel CT Technologist

Role Overview A Travel CT Tech operates CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, preparing and positioning patients safely, following imaging protocols, and collaborating with radiologists for accurate diagnosis. They maintain equipment, document procedures, and adhere to safety standards to minimize radiation exposure, providing compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality images of bones, organs, and tissuesPrepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring proper positioningSet technical parameters for precise imagingEnsure safety protocols and radiation standards are followedPerform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshootingAccurately document patient and procedural informationCollaborate with healthcare professionals for timely diagnosticsAdapt to different CT equipment and protocolsPerform additional duties within CT Tech scope as assigned Qualifications & Skills Minimum one year of recent CT Technologist experienceValid Radiology license per state regulationsCurrent BLS certification (AHA/ARC); ARRT certification preferredCritical thinking, interpersonal, and communication skillsProficiency in reading, writing, and PC usePhysical ability to move equipment and assist patientsEffective teamwork and professionalismAbility to work under pressure, with attention to detailVisual acuity and effective communication skills
