Travel CT Technologist - $3,578 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Staten Island, New York. This role requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and night work. The ideal candidate must have one year of experience, BLS certification, ARRT (CT) national certification, and state-specific licensing if required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and provide reassurance
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Position patients for CT scanning
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance internal organ visibility
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• One year of experience
• BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) national certification
• State-specific licensing (if required)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
