About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 16-week evening shift contract at an academic medical center in Burlington, VT.
Responsibilities
- Scan trauma patients independently
- Place peripheral IVs (PIVs)
- Work in an Epic EMR environment
- Use a Philips scanner
- Work 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Sunday
- Meet a minimum of every other weekend requirement
- May have to adjust schedule to meet unit and patient care needs
- Must be able to work independently and proficiently in a clinical setting
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- VT license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of Epic experience within the past 2 years
- Experience in a similarly sized academic teaching facility required
- Must be able to independently scan trauma patients
- Proficient in peripheral IV (PIV) placement
- Two professional references required: at least one from a supervisor or nurse manager within the past 6 months, and one from within the past year of employment
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
- No float requirement

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
