Travel CT Technologist - $3,388 per week

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Rochester, New York. Start date: ASAP. Duration: 17 weeks. 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identity and verify exams prior to initiating scans, adhering strictly to department policies to ensure patient safety.
• Coordinate with physicians to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.
• Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to help alleviate any concerns, ensuring their comfort.
• Insert IVs when required for imaging tests.
• Position patients accurately, including lifting or moving those with limited mobility, while adhering to safe patient handling practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records by documenting necessary components within electronic systems, ensuring images are sent to the appropriate storage system upon exam completion.
• Ensure a clean and safe scanning facility is maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Current HCP registration in NYS with injection therapy certification required at the time of application.
• Completion of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology, maintaining certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• NYS licensure (must be obtained prior to starting the position).
• Two (2) years of experience in a relevant setting, preferably at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• Injection certification preferred; candidates must be willing to complete this during the orientation process.
• Familiarity with Philips and Siemens imaging equipment is advantageous.

Schedule
