Travel CT Technologist - $3,327 per week

About the role

LanceSoft is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The facility is a 60 bed facility, Level IV Trauma Center, and Stroke Ready Facility.

Unit Information

The unit has 2 CT Scanners, shared back-to-back with control room. The average patients per day is approximately 20 scans a shift per tech. A minimum of 2+ years of acute care CT experience is required. First-time travelers will not be accepted unless they have 10+ years of CT experience.

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses

The patient types include outpatients, ED, inpatients, and Level II Trauma scans. Common diagnoses include strokes, brain CTAs, CT perfusions, abdomen, extremities, spine, neck, head, and pulmonary embolisms.

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) and WI License
• BLS
• 2+ years of acute care CT experience
• Experience with patient types, strokes/brain CTAS, and comfortable working independently
• Canon and Toshiba experience is highly preferred
• IV starts, CT Perfusions, and experience with biopsies/special procedures are preferred

Support within the Department

The department has 2 CT Techs for days, 1 CT tech after 1830, Imaging Patient Assistant, Concierge at Imaging Desk, Radiology Nurse until 1600, Phlebotomy in hospital, House Supervisor, Lead CT Technologist on site during day shift, and RT 24/7.

Technology/Equipment

The facility uses EPIC EMR, McKesson PACS, Pyxis med dispensing, and Canon Scanners (80 slice & 40 Slice).

Scheduling

The schedule includes a weekend rotation, and holiday expectations require working on scheduled days. There is no on-call requirement.
