About the role
Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. This travel position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and the support of a dedicated clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately
- Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
- Provide high-quality images to radiologists for interpretation
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across healthcare facilities
Requirements
- One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid radiology license in compliance with Rhode Island state regulations
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
- Current ARRT Certification
- Other certifications and licenses as required for the position

- Technical/motor skills: grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures
- Mental requirements: cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, and work without assistance
- Sensory requirements: possess visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively
