The CT department performs approximately 50–75 patients per day and supports emergency, inpatient, outpatient, trauma, stroke, and cardiac imaging services. Position Summary: The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT examinations for a diverse patient population, including ED, inpatient, outpatient, stroke, chest pain, procedural, and trauma patients. The technologist will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images while following established safety and imaging protocols. Responsibilities:Perform CT examinations for emergency, inpatient, outpatient, procedural, and trauma patients. Perform stroke and chest pain imaging workups. Provide CT imaging support for trauma patients. Start and maintain IV access as required for contrast-enhanced examinations. Operate GE CT scanners and associated imaging equipment. Follow radiation safety and patient care protocols. Ensure accurate patient identification and examination documentation. Maintain appropriate communication with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Document patient care and imaging procedures in EPIC. Follow department policies and quality standards. Work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment. Required Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience RT(R)(CT) certification IEMA certification Current BLS Experience with GE CT scanners Experience with IV starts Experience with stroke and chest pain workups Trauma CT experience Preferred Qualifications:3 years of experience preferred Previous travel experience First-time travelers may be considered if highly qualified.
