Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist CT is responsible for ensuring the accurate, timely, responsive, and reliable evaluation of Radiology procedures, equipment, and staff. This role prioritizes customer service, serving employees, medical staff, patients, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Comply with all hospital policies and procedures regarding incident reporting.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform CT procedures as requested by referring physicians.
• Exhibit adequate radiation safety practices for both patients and co-workers.
• Participate in all Radiology Management System functions related to patient procedures.
• Provide patient education as needed.
• Maintain effective communication with referring physicians and radiologist staff to facilitate efficient delivery of CT procedures.
• Abide by the service delivery standards of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology in all interactions.
• Adhere to appropriate and accepted clinical principles, methods, and procedures while performing CT procedures.

Education & Certifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology.
• NYS Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist License with Injection
• Registered ARRT(R)
• BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Schedule & Equipment

• 50/50 split between X-Ray and CT duties.
• Candidates with at least 1 year of experience may be considered, even if they do not have a CT Registry.
• Typical shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overnight call as needed.
• Common equipment: GE Revolution APEX and GE X-ray equipment.

Pay & Benefits
