About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift CT Technologist for a 10-week travel assignment in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. This role is in an acute care setting within the CT/X-Ray department, which has 2 CT scanners (Toshiba Prime and Aquilion 64). The facility uses Cerner EMR, with a transition to Epic underway.

The schedule consists of night shifts (8:30 PM-6 AM, 7 PM-7 AM, or 7 PM-6 AM) on a 7/70 rotation, totaling 40 hours per week. Weekend rotation and holiday coverage (if it falls on a scheduled work day) are required. The technologist will be the sole CT tech in-house from 9 PM to 5:45 AM and must perform IV starts. No call or standby requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general CT imaging and studies
  • Operate Toshiba Prime and Aquilion 64 equipment
  • Conduct IV starts as part of job duties
  • Work independently as the sole CT technologist on shift overnight
  • Adhere to a night shift schedule with 10 or 12-hour shifts
  • Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage
  • Clock in and out at the facility

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
  • BLS certification
  • ARRT certification
  • WI state license, if applicable
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Ability to perform IV starts
  • Comfortable working independently overnight

Additional Information

  • No radiologist in-house 24/7
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) utilized in this department
  • Department-specific orientation provided
  • Candidates must provide their own scrubs
  • Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
  • Former Marshfield permanent staff must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration and require hospital approval to reapply

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
