Travel CT Technologist - $3,206 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified agency, is seeking a quality CT Technologist for a 13‑week contract with a top healthcare client. The role involves operating CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images for diagnosis, positioning patients, managing contrast administration, and ensuring high‑quality, patient‑focused care.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross‑sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for medical diagnosis
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary
• Set equipment controls, monitor equipment and patient, and make adjustments as needed
• Assist radiologist with imaging procedures, start IVs, and inject contrast when applicable
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans
• Assist radiologist with interventional CT procedures
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in exposure sequence, and label appropriately
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record
• Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
• Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner
• Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence with timely, compassionate care
• Promote a safe work environment incorporating national patient safety initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 18 months prior experience in a healthcare setting as a CT Technologist
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required
• State licensure where required
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
