Travel CT Technologist - $3,090 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Rice Lake, WI. This is a 26-week contract with 40 hours per week on an evening shift (8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
• Position patients correctly to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State-specific licensing where required.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
