Travel CT Technologist - $3,067 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an acute care Radiology department requiring 1+ years of experience and ARRT certification. The facility operates two sites: one with three GE and Siemens scanners, the other with a Canon scanner. The department handles emergency and routine outpatient imaging, averaging about 150 studies per day, and uses Meditech Expanse EMR with Philips PACS.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging for emergency and routine outpatient studies.
• Work daylight shifts with a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech typically present.
• RRAs are not utilized in this department.
• Complete approximately one week of unit‑specific orientation.
• Wear scrubs of any color except purple (scrubs not provided).

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a CT Technologist.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• State license if applicable.
• Ability to start IVs.
• GE or Siemens scanner experience required at one site; Canon experience required at the other site.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).

Schedule

• 4×10‑hour day shifts.
• Shift start times vary between daylight and afternoon.
• Weekend rotation every other weekend, with optional holiday coverage.
• No floating to other departments, no call or standby requirements.
