Travel CT Technologist - $3,067 per week

About the role

Travel CT Technologist position in an acute care setting within the Radiology department at a facility in Martinsburg, West Virginia. The assignment is 13 weeks starting November 2, 2026, with a day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours per week). No weekend, holiday, or call requirements. Radiologist coverage is in-house from 7 AM to 7 PM, with on-call coverage overnight.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging across all areas for both adult and pediatric patients
• Perform any CT exam as needed across departments
• Work with Canon/Toshiba and Fuji Synaps equipment using EPIC EMR
• Report to Radiology Director/Manager (no lead tech on the unit)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• BLS certification (AHA)
• ARRT certification required; CT certification preferred
• Radiography certification through ARRT or Nuclear Medicine certification through NMTCB
• Current or temporary West Virginia Radiography License or Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic CT License through the WV Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Technology Board
• Ability to start IVs
• Black scrubs required

Additional Information

• Floor-specific orientation generally up to 2 weeks depending on modality
• Radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency, not the facility
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates not accepted; minimum 50-mile distance requirement from the facility
• Previous permanent staff or travelers must wait 2 years before returning to any WVU Medicine facility
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than a cumulative year without a 2-year break

Schedule

• Day shift, Monday through Friday
• 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• 40 hours per week
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• Radiologist coverage in-house 7 AM to 7 PM, on call overnight
