About the role

The Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC), Shiprock Service Unit, is a 60-bed inpatient facility with an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a Level 4 Trauma-designated Emergency Department (ED), and a surgical suite. The Diagnostic Radiology Department performs over 60,000 imaging studies per year, including plain film radiography and computed tomography (CT) scanning.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans under the supervision of a radiologist.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Accurately document patient information and scan results.
• Adhere to radiation protection protocols.

Requirements

• Current state certification as a CT Technologist.
• Experience with CT scanning equipment.
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited CT technologist program.
• Passing scores on relevant certification exams.
