This role involves independently performing general radiology, bone density testing, and computed tomography (CT) exams in both hospital and outpatient settings, utilizing advanced imaging equipment. Job Details Certifications: ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT), BLS through AHA Education Requirements: Certification in radiologic technology with current licensure Position Location: within a 80-mile local area Years of Experience: Two years of proficiency in general radiology and CT imaging procedures Schedule: 12-hour shifts, five days per week, with rotating call shifts: Friday 7:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM, and additional weekday shifts on a Monday-Tuesday rotation Call Requirements: Call is required with a callback time of 20 minutes; call shifts include 2-3 weeknights and two weekends per month Additional Responsibilities: Perform procedures independently, work with EPIC electronic charting, PACS SECTRA, and utilize state-of-the-art imaging equipment including Siemens CT and Carestream DR-Lite X-ray systems Orientation: Technologists will receive departmental training and orientation, with expected independence within one week of start Submission Requirements: Candidates must be willing to wait for license approval and have the ability to badge in at the facility Benefits The benefits of taking a travel assignment with Cross Country include: Private housing or generous housing allowance Comprehensive health insurance with prescription coverage Dependent health insurance with prescription coverage Competitive salaries Referral bonuses Travel reimbursement 401(k) retirement plan Direct deposit/free checking Unlimited free CE credits Cross Country Allied Job ID #1309867.
